Há algo novo na alta-costura e quem melhor que Raf Simons para ditar isso? Ontem no desfile da Christian Dior para o Verão de 2014, o designer apresentou uma colecção de peças soberbas que combinam, não só com o sapatos de salto alto, mas também com uns ténis de piscina embelezados. Aparentemente este será um novo hit da haute-couture française.
A ideia que havia sido criado por John Galliano sobre a maison francesa, dos vestidos intrincadamente costurados, exuberantes e extravagantes, tem sido mudada desde o primeiro desfile assinado por Simons. Mantém-se o nível e altera-se completamente o conceito. As peças são agora trabalhadas através de elementos geométricos, de uma forma muito mais minimalista, com menos tecido e com cortes e alturas completamente diferentes, sem esquecer os pormenores. Esta é a Dior moderna.

Yesterday at Christian Dior for the spring of 2014 show, the designer presented a superb collection of pieces combined, not only with high heels, but also with some embellished swiming-pool shoes. Apparently this will be the new hit of haute-couture française.
The idea that had been created by John Galliano about the french maison, of dresses intricately sewn, exuberant and extravagant, has been changed since the first show signed by Simons. It maintains the level and changes completely the concept. The piecesare now worked through geometric elements, in a much more minimalist way, with less fabric and with cuts and heights completely different, without leaving the details behind. This is the modern Dior.
