Daniela Barros | Portugal Fashion Fall 2014

Vejam as imagens e o vídeo do final do desfile.

Daniela Barros created the warrior women her new collection titled "Dalka". A woman of strong character who is at once dark and romantic. The jacket is the centerpiece, displayed in shades of camel, black and white with details such as the white coat with an asymmetrical cut, that reminds lacerated arms, a mixture of softness and violence seen throughout the collection.
But Daniela went further and geometries that are already part of her DNA, along with the asymmetries she created new ways for the female body giving a fluidity between silhouette, stiffness and comfort. A triad that seems not to combine, but it is misleading to think that, because the natural and technological materials, fibers and silks used just confirm that fluidity. The details extend for turtleneck sweaters, where the collar has a zipper, the deconstruction of some pieces and crumpled dresses. Check out the images and the video of the show's finale.

Was the George Rousse’s work, painter and photograph based on France, that served as the basis of inspiration for the creation of Luís Buchinho collection for the next fall-winter of 2014. The designer took the architectural forms and the creation of new dimensions that come from the work of French artist and turned them into garments that play with the feminine silhouette and reflect a new reality: the Buchinho’s woman, but now stronger than before. She knows what she wants and has to express exactly that, or were not cuissardes a symbol of trust, and the living roses contrasting with black and white pieces with trompe l'oeil effect more assumptions for the defense of this argument.

The man got his aristocractic character dressed after gettting rido f hids uniforme. Get himself transformed and his extremely elegante with a great tailored suit that only Júlio torcato knows how to do it. This was the designer’s collection for the next winter of 2014 presented in on more edition of Portugal Fashion.

The wool, caxemira, silk brocade and cotton showed not only the luxury, but also a man that still is a human being with power and that knows how to be exquisite in the middle of a decaying and increasingly urban society.

Nair Xavier | ModaLisboa Vision Fall 2014

source: oli-world

Torná-la independente e sustentável, divulgá-la e fazê-la crescer." concluiu a Nair.

She's a genuine Portuguese girl, Angolan descending and with fashion in the heart: she's Nair Xavier and his first collection was presented in the latest edition of ModaLisboa in the Sangue Novo platform. In a small interview to the designer was possible to know her path until the presentation of his collection entitled " Bergie Seltzer " .
Nair begins in the fashion world in Magestil studying indu
strial styling and here begins to develop the technical skills of the this profession. Finish professional course and is aged for two seasons with the White Tent where she works and applies the techniques learned. "Influenced by their work I went to London to study at the London College of Fashion, where I got my degree in Fashion Design Technology and specialized in menswear." told me Nair .

Bergie Seltzer
Bergie Seltzer is the name given to the fizzing souund mad by the ice when it melts.

This collection is inspired by the anatomical shape of penguins, icebergs and the ice shelves and with just seven looks was a challenge for the designer to create and combine parts in order to achieve a coherent collection. "It's a challenge because the collection is so small, decide which ones are the right pieces that will better coordinate with each other." said Nair. Of course, that even with a small collection there is always the need for precision and method and the budgets for designers in the beginning of a career are not always the highest, so Nair gets the credits for having designed and produced all the pieces .

For the future "is to take my brand and my work forward. Making it independent and sustainable, publicize it and make it grow." concluded Nair. Here we will be waiting for the next collection.

La Petite-Malle, The New Louis Vuitton Bag

Paris Fashion Week ended just a few days ago and the last day was one of the most anticipated of the week. It was the first collection of Nicolas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton, the first show that the former designer of Balenciaga designs for the iconic French house after the departure of Marc Jacobs who has been there for 16 years. Besides the debut of Ghesquière and the success of the show was also the debut of a new Vuitton wallet: the petite-malle. Inspired by the classics and old trunks and suitcases of the brand, the wallet is a miniature of these eternal objects and which many now serve as decorative pieces. The wallet comes in several colors and textures and may or not have a removable protective cover. One last thing and easy to predict is that will be one of the most desired objects of the next season.
