A Paris Fashion Week acabou há poucos dias e o último dia foi um dos mais esperados da semana. Foi a primeira colecção de Nicolas Ghesquière para a Louis Vuitton, o primeiro desfile que o ex-designer da Balenciaga desenha para a íconica casa francesa depois da saída de Marc Jacobs que lá esteve durante 16 anos. Além da estreia de Ghesquière e do sucesso do desfile, foi também a estreia de uma nova carteira Vuitton: a petite-malle. Inspirada nos antigos e clássicos baús e malas de viagem da marca, a carteira é uma miniatura desses objectos eternos e que muitos servem hoje como peças de decoração. A carteira vem em diversas cores e texturas e pode ou não ter uma capa removível de protecção, sendo fácil de prever que será um dos objectos mais desejados da próxima estação.

Paris Fashion Week ended just a few days ago and the last day was one of the most anticipated of the week. It was the first collection of Nicolas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton, the first show that the former designer of Balenciaga designs for the iconic French house after the departure of Marc Jacobs who has been there for 16 years. Besides the debut of Ghesquière and the success of the show was also the debut of a new Vuitton wallet: the petite-malle. Inspired by the classics and old trunks and suitcases of the brand, the wallet is a miniature of these eternal objects and which many now serve as decorative pieces. The wallet comes in several colors and textures and may or not have a removable protective cover. One last thing and easy to predict is that will be one of the most desired objects of the next season.
